Industrial Technology Education is an integral part of the total education program. The ever-changing technology encountered in our everyday living makes it essential that industrial and technological educational experiences be regarded as basic and essential to all youth. Industrial Technology Education career pathways are sequentially articulated from junior high school through senior high school, ROP, institutes, community colleges, and four-year colleges and universities..
Students are often motivated to improve their basic skills in science, math, and English when they can easily see the relationship these skills have to each other in a practical applied setting.

La tecnología en constante cambio que encontramos en nuestras vidas cotidianas hace imprescindible que las experiencias industriales y tecnológicas educativas se consideren fundamentales e indispensables para la juventud. Las trayectorias de Carreras Industriales y
Tecnológicas están conectadas de manera secuencial desde la secundaria hasta la
preparatoria, ROP, instituciones, colegios comunitarios, y colegios y universidades de cuatro años.
Los alumnos típicamente se motivan a mejorar sus habilidades básicas en ciencias, matemáticas, e inglés cuando pueden ver por medio de una aplicación práctica la relación que existe entre estas habilidades.
